Keren Hayesod-UIA has supported the People of Israel for over 100 years.
It operates fundraising campaigns in more than 40 countries and 60 communities around the world in 9 languages and 22 time zones.
These partnerships are based on a commitment to the People of Israel, with Keren Hayesod-UIA serving as a legal and organisational bridge between Israel and the campaigns around the world.
Our Mission
With support from global Jewry and 'Friends of Israel', we raise funds for Israel's national priorities which are identified at a strategic level collectively by Keren Hayesod-UIA, The Jewish Agency for Israel and the government of Israel (of the day).
We are the bridge that embodies an unbreakable connection and makes it possible for all to act as a collective - working for a strong Israel at the heart of the Jewish world, a secure Israel that can provide a home and safe haven for all Jews and a successful Israel that everyone can be proud of.
Keren Hayesod-UIA is the official fundraising arm for the People of Israel and our executive, boards and committees bring together global leaders dedicated to this mission.
UIA Australia
The Australian campaigns have played a pivotal role in strengthening and empowering the People of Israel by investing in long-term solutions to support Israel's national priorities.
UIA ‘divisions’ ensure that donors feel connected to the specific causes and projects that we support in a way that resonates with them. While divisions may appeal to specific audiences and focus their efforts on certain UIA supported projects, we never lose sight of the fact that we are a united organisation with the sole aim of supporting the People of Israel.
The divisions that make up UIA Australia are:
General Division: Forms the core fundraising arm of UIA
Women’s Division: Recognises women as the pillar of the Jewish family and educators of the next generation, therefore ensuring Jewish continuity through women’s philanthropy
Young Leadership: A division for young adults aged 18-35. This division transitions into the Young Families division.
