While annual donations go a long way towards meeting Israel's immediate needs, modern Israel requires long-term vision and planning of resources for the future. To address this need, UIA established Planned Giving to assist those donors who wish to make a significant gift of lasting value - either by including UIA as a Bequest in a Will or establishing an Endowment Fund.
Just a few words in your Will does a world of good and assists Israel through the work we do at Keren Hayesod – United Israel Appeal (UIA).
By leaving a bequest to Israel you will assist us in making a difference, continue to save Jewish lives and keep Israel strong. A bequest to Israel enables you to make a concrete and lasting contribution to the continuum of Jewish life as realised in the foundation and up building of the sovereign Jewish State of Israel. A bequest to Keren Hayesod – United Israel Appeal is a link between your generation and your family’s future generations.
A UIA Endowment Fund is created by donors who prefer more permanency than their current annual gift. They are drawn to how their personal Fund will continue to have a lasting impact on UIA programs in Israel today, and after their passing, in perpetuity. The minimum contribution is $50,000 (principal amount) and income generated from the investment is allocated to UIA programs in the donor’s name.
• 100% tax deductible
• Income generated can be designated (in the donor’s name) to a KH-UIA program/s in Israel of the donor’s choice
• Donors who have passed away are remembered annually through UIA’s annual 'Yizkor' memorial program
• Annual Fund distribution reports
