Sir Frank Lowy, a Holocaust survivor, Sydneysider and founder of shopping giant Westfield, reflects on his past as he considers his future retirement. Sir Frank reflects on his war-torn childhood as a way to shape his perspective on this monumental decision.
"When I think back on that young Jewish boy fleeing the Nazis, I find it hard to believe how I ended up here," says Sir Frank.
This is a story of a remarkable life, and of a man who, like many, has to swim the tide of history as he grapples with family, work and ageing.
