Brendon played 244 AFL games with the Richmond Football club and upon retiring, practiced law at Mallesons Stephen Jaques. In 2005, he was appointed CEO of the AFL Players Association, responsible for representing the interests of all players. In 2009, he was appointed CEO of the Richmond Football club where he leads a diverse team of over 150 people, a budget of approximately $80 million and is responsible for all aspects of the organisation.
Under his leadership, the iconic Punt Rd Oval was transformed into an elite high-performance facility, and the Club has achieved record consumer and commercial growth year on year, also breaking the drought when winning the 2017 AFL Premiership.
As a passionate diversity advocate he holds a number of directorships and board positions. Brendon has participated in two trade missions to Israel, including time with the IDF which he will also address.
